For my final portfolio, I clearly decided to make a website. I revised my first two portfolios. On my first portfolio, I chose the same photo of me, but the shot is vertical and not as close up as the original one. In my second portfolio, I rewrote some of the lines, mainly Allison's. Allison is the popularity obsessed fourteen year old. I made her lines longer and to sound more like her age. Since she really wanted to go to a party, that she believed would keep her on top of the popularity spectrum, I made her seem more whiny and that the world revolved around her and if one thing didn't go her way, i.e. being grounded and not going to a party, it would ruin her life. I based her character more on one of my bratty cousins who Allison reminds me perfectly of. It took me awhile to find a website that was easier for me to use. I also tried Impactfolio. It was way too hard for me to understand and to navigate. Artist portfolio worked great, and I was able to upload my photos. I wasn't able to upload my story as a pdf file, so I printed it out and took photos of each page. This idea did work, even if it could have been better, but I had no idea how I was going to show my story creatively enough.
Biography: Lisa Hanson is from a small town Minnesota called, Stillwater. There she had all her schooling up to high school. She is now a current student at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. Hanson did this portfolio as a homework assignment for one of her teachers at Columbia.
